F&S Consulting ("F&S", "we", "our") is a Montreal-based IT consulting practice registered with the Registraire des entreprises du Québec. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Loi 25) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information we collect
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our contact form, checklist download form, risk-assessment quiz, or by email:
- Name, business email, phone number, company name, and role.
- Information you describe about your IT environment, audit needs, or business situation.
- Quiz responses (anonymous unless you choose to email yourself your results).
- Server-level technical data: IP address, timestamp (for spam prevention and submission logging).
This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics.
2. Purposes for which we use your information
- Respond to your inquiry and propose a scoped engagement.
- Deliver the requested checklist, quiz results, or proposal materials.
- Send occasional relevant insights (only if you opted in).
- Maintain a submission log for fraud prevention and audit trail.
3. Who has access
Access is limited to the F&S principal consultant. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We may use the following processors solely to operate this site:
- Our website and email hosting provider — for site and email operation.
4. Retention
Submission data is retained for 24 months from the date of last contact, then securely deleted. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
5. Your Loi 25 rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Withdraw consent to communications at any time.
- Receive a copy of your information in a structured, commonly-used format (data portability).
- Be notified in the event of a confidentiality incident affecting your information.

6. Breach notification
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) and affected individuals without delay, in accordance with Loi 25.
7. Security measures
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportional to the sensitivity of the data we hold, including: encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted access to submission logs, password and MFA hygiene on our own accounts, and regular security reviews of our own infrastructure.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The most current version is always available at this URL with an updated revision date.
